Claire Powers

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Claire Powers, 74, of Barrington, NH, announce her passing on Monday April 8th. Claire passed peacefully while at home surrounded by family members. She was born on October 27, 1949, in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late William Carlin and Lucille Carlin (Law). Claire married her husband Michael Powers on July 10,1968 and started a family while still residing in NJ. Claire dedicated her life to raising her three children, but she also made time to support those in her community by volunteering with the local first aid department. Claire and her family left the cold winters of New Jersey behind and relocated to Florida. After her children grew, Claire went back to school to obtain an Associates Degree in Nursing from Palm Beach Community College and started a long and rewarding career as a nurse.
