Constance “Connie” Mann (née Seavey), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother,
passed away peacefully on July 23rd, 2025 at the age of 90. Born on April 12th,
1935 in Rochester, New Hampshire, Connie lived a life defined by kindness, quiet strength, and
unwavering love for her family. Connie was a gracious hostess who was always ready with a
warm smile, an offer of snacks, and a listening ear. As an avid crafter, she made blankets, winter
accessories, and countless prayer shawls for loved ones and those in need. She had a gift of
creativity and used it to serve others, often making items to be donated or décor for church
events. She was also sharp and clever, and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, and word
searches.
Known for both her wit and calm presence, Connie had a remarkable ability to bring
warmth to any room she entered. Even in her later years, she could deliver a perfectly timed quip
that reminded everyone her spark was still shining. As her memory faded, Connie faced it with
grace, doing her best to stay present and kind, even when the world around her grew less
familiar.
Connie was the cherished wife of the late Tom Mann, with whom she shared one of the
most solid and loving marriages anyone could hope to witness. Together, they built a beautiful
family and a lasting legacy of love. She was the devoted mother of Debbie, Steve, and David; a
proud grandmother of seven (Kyle Abel, Kelsey Abel, Christa Roy, Heather Summers, Nathan
Mann, Sarah Blais, and Rachel Mann), and joyful great-grandmother to two (Adalyn Summers
and Theodore Mann).
Connie’s life was filled with humble acts of care, strength in simplicity, easy laughter,
and a steady love that extended deeply into the lives of her family. Her family hopes that
thoughts of Tom and Connie being reunited again will bring comfort to those who need it.
A service will be held at R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home at 86 S Main St, Rochester,
