Corey Lindsey Krongard

Corey Lindsey Krongard, 32 of Rochester, NH died June 21st afteryears of battling a health condition. Corey was born August 14th, 1988 in Portland ME to Bernard and Sharon (Rowland) Krongard of Strafford, NH.Corey is survived by her mother Sharon Krongard, her aunt Sandra Belanger and her husband Donald Belanger of Loudon, NH; her aunt Deborah Casey of Rochester, NH; her aunt Kimberly Whitehouse of Farmington, NH and several cousins. Corey is predeceased by her father Bernard Krongard. Corey was a fighter and an accomplished anything she set her mind to. She was a true friend and cherished her relationships with those she held dear. She deeply loved her family and friends as well as her beloved dog "Spike" who was her constant companion. Corey enjoyed doing her make-up and nails. She loved the Dave Mathews Band and got together each year with several friends to go to their concerts. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and would spend countless hours decorating our home and cooking for the annual party with extended family and friends. Corey's dad would constantly bring her mother flowers so Corey continued to do this for her mother after her father had passed away. After becoming ill with Guillian-Barre Syndrome, Corey started her own GBS project. Corey sent hundreds of personalized cards and small silver sea turtle charms to GBS survivors around the world to signify a slow and long process to recovery.
