Craig Casavant

Craig Joseph Casavant, 49, of Rochester passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 after a sudden illness. He was the son of Carol (Scheu) Stevens and J. Paul Casavant. Craig grew up and lived most of his life in Rochester attending Spaulding High School and playing football for the Raiders. He also had fond memories of his time in Civil Air Patrol as a youth and had a love of history throughout his life. Craig earned his commercial driver's license and enjoyed his time working at Simplex Wire and Cable and Pike Industries. He was a loving and proud uncle to five nieces and nephews, Danielle, Nathan, Matthew, David and Morgan; and well as a caring godfather to Ryan and David. Craig was an animal lover and had a very caring bond with his cats, especially Max, Sara and Mr. Pickles. Everyone who knew Craig loved him. He had a quick wit and often had everyone laughing.
