Rochester, Brian R. Nickerson, of 30 Little Falls Bridge Rd. died on Wednesday February 27th at the age of 62. Born in Conway N.H. March 13, 1950 to son of George R and Lorena Nickerson. Brian pursued a career in the United States Navy after graduating from High School in 1968. He was so proud when he made Chief Warrant Officer in 1983. He absolutely enjoyed serving his country in the Navy. After retiring in 1988, the family moved to California so he could pursue a career in Real Estate. He lived there for 7 years before moving back to Rochester, N.H. to be closer to family. Upon moving back he took a job at Neslab in Newington and worked there for 10 years before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed working on cars in his younger years and still could educate you on almost anything. He was very funny and smart and could always make people laugh with his jokes. He enjoyed camping, he was very friendly and would talk to anyone that walked by. He had a seasonal camping site at Apple Valley campground in Acton, M.E. where he made many friends with whom he still kept in touch. Brian leaves behind his wife Glenna (Giguere) Nickerson of 41 years. His daughter Bethany and son in law Shane Skaggs of Yuma, AZ., son Ketih and daughter in law Amy Nickerson of Gonic, NH. and Daughter Lori Boisvert of Gonic. He also leaves behind his precious grandchildren Devon, Hunter, Aiden, Samantha and Logan. There will be no calling hours or services per his request. Burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH with full Military Honors at a later date. There will be a gathering at his home on March 9th starting at 12pm.
