Daniel Kelly

Somersworth NH-Daniel Kelly,74, of 108 Tri city Plaza die Sunday February 21, 2010 at his home after a long illness. Born October 22, 1935 in Brockton Ma he was the son of the late John and Gertrude (Curtin) Kelly. Dan has lived in Somersworth for the last 4 years after moving from Rochester. He served in the United Sates Army during the Korean War. He later became an executive chef and worked for several restaurants but most recently the Rochester Country Club. He was a past member of the American Legion Post 7 in Rochester and the Victory Club. He enjoyed singing having sung in a barber shop quartet call the Yankee Clipper Chorus and he enjoyed playing golf. Members or his family include his wife of 42 years, Ruth (Mills) Kelly of Somersworth, his sons; Thomas O'Rourke of Lee and Timothy O'Rourke who passed in 2005, his daughter, Debra Bertrand of Rochester, his grandchildren; Jessica Brown of Portsmouth, Pamela Rainey of Epping and Austin O'Rourke of Lee, several brothers and sisters from Brockton Ma. His mother and father in-law; Richard and Joyce Mills of Portsmouth NH In lieu of flowers donations may be made the Humane Society of ones choice. A memorial service will be held Saturday February 27th at 11am in the Chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH 03867
