Danielle Benedict

Manchester - Danielle Benedict, 32, passed away unexpectedly Thursday April 23, 2015 at her home. Born September 9, 1982 in Concord, MA the daughter of Melissa (Smith) D'Arcy and David Belanger. Danielle worked as a Lead Teacher at Discovery Child Enrichment Center in Portsmouth, NH. Her passion was teaching and taking care of children, her own and the hundreds that came through Discovery during her fifteen years there. She was reserved, carefree and loving, with big blue eyes and an even bigger open heart. Her career choice was perfect. Danielle was a woman with many likes and hobbies; she was a gifted young woman. She enjoyed baking for friends and family, and sometimes just for the enjoyment. She would call so many people asking for recipes so she could do more of what she enjoyed. She loved movies and TV shows that sparked her interests. She enjoyed, AMC's The Walking Dead every Sunday night with her husband Chuck. She loved the Bachelor and Bachelorette shows, she loved romance movies, along with some great action and horror flicks as well. She had a love for her cat, Zoe, and an uncompromising love and compassion for her husband (Chuck) and three children (Gage, Faith, and Cailyn). She would constantly share crazy stories of Zoe with so many of her friends and family, along with how she enjoyed watching rainbows by herself or with the kids after it rained. She enjoyed the simplicities of life and found such beauty and wonderment within it all. She had a spark in her eye that made you want to be around her. She was blessed in every way, and she was a blessing in every way. She was loved by many and will continue to be loved. She will always be remembered, and will always have a place in our hearts. Members of her family include her husband Clyde Chuck' Benedict, III of Manchester, NH; her children Gage Morin of Berwick, ME; Faith and Cailyn Benedict of Manchester, NH; Her mother and stepfather Missi and Tom D'Arcy of Rochester, NH; her father and stepmother David and Joanna Belanger, and sister Abby Belanger, step father Thomas Murphy and wife Jennifer of Effingham, NH; her sister Devon Belanger and niece Chloe Wilburn of Woodstock, GA; her maternal grandmother Paula Smith of Littleton, ME; and paternal grandparents Louis and Lorraine Belanger of FL; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Chuck and Anna Benedict, Salem NH, and her two sister-in-laws, Chelsea and Chrystal Benedict, Salem NH. Danielle also left behind aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. There will be two separate services to honor and celebrate her life. On Wednesday, April 29, there will be a memorial service at The Crossing, 125 North Lowell Road, Windham, NH at 6:30PM. On Thursday afternoon, April 30, there will be a public visitation from 2:00 - 4:00PM at R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester, NH, followed by a memorial service at the same location at 4:00PM.
