David Charette

July 22, 1956 — September 28, 2023

As we glide across the water in hopes of finding any sign of life. With the sun slowly rising out in the distance and medium dunkins hot regular in hand. We cast out our line in search of any sign of life. Waiting, hoping and praying to see the rod tip move and the the reel to go off and let loose. FISH ON!!! As you scream in excitement. On September 28, 2023 David Joseph Charette Sr. landed his final fish surrounded by his loving wife Kimberly Charette (Smith) and loved ones. Born July 22,1956 to Emile and Anne T. Charette (deceased) of Chelsea, MA. He attended NorthEast Vocational Highschool (Class of 1976) where  he studied to become a master carpenter. Working and teaching his craft, it was at this time he would meet and fall in love with Margaret Ann (Peggy) Scott Charette (preceded in death August 25,1989) and found their forever home on 28 Timpson St. in Lynn MA, where they had 4 amazing children together. Then after the unfortunate passing of Peggy Ann., he married Rosanne Ferragamo Verge where his 4 children and her 4 children became a blended family of 8 (how did we not kill him then), living upon the big blue house atop the hill under one roof in Lynnfield, MA. Again how did he survive this?!? Just when it was the darkest before the dawn a shining star out of the heavens was brought in his life and with that his greatest, his last and forever love in Kimberly (Smith) Charette. Blending the 3rd and final family. OUR FOREVER FAMILY. He is survived by his loving wife and children of 3 blended families, amazing grandchildren, brothers and sister Wife Kimberly (Smith) Charette of Rochester, NH David Joseph Charette Jr. of Exeter, NH (Thomas and Emma) Elizabeth Marie (Hill) Charette of Somersworth, NH  (Jason, Alyssa, Brian, and Bentley) Michael Thomas Charette of Rochester, NH (Ethan and Aurelia) Dorothy Ann Charette of Hampstead, NH (Brialyn) Brett Christopher Smith of West Springfield, MA Scott Verge of Medford, MA (Regan and Delilah) Patricia Almquist of South Berwick, ME (Mason, Maverick, and Kansas) and Ann Marie St.George (Verge) of Lynnfield, MA.  (Landon, Daniel, Matt, and Evelyn) Preceded in death by son Brian Joseph Verge of Medford, MA. Brothers Dennis Charette, James Charette And Robert (Buck) Charette Sister Marie (Charette) Peters And all his nieces, nephews, son in-laws, daughter in-laws,  in-laws and all his four legged children. David's impacted on this world and everyone's life who he's ever met will last for generations. Whether it was teaching you his love for carpentry, tough love or learning how to set a hook. Dave loved anyone and everyone like you where his own flesh and blood. From block parties on the 4th to Saturday morning cartoons. Sunday dinners or any holiday. To fishing tournaments or just rides on the boat. Day rides to get coffee or night trips to Lagos for ice cream. He would give you his all. Dave will be loved and missed by everyone. As life becomes busy and we drift apart. Our love for each other will and always be in our hearts and memories. May you find peace and rest now. It is our turn to hold the rod and fight this fish.
