David W. Doyon

SOMERSWORTH, David W. "Dave" Doyon, 91, of Somersworth New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, after a brief illness.  Dave was born on October 9, 1930, the only child of Gideon and Olive (Marquis) Doyon. Dave was educated at St. Martin Academy and Somersworth High School.  After high school he enlisted in the Navy and served in the Korean War receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1954.  Upon his return from the Navy he met and married the love of his life, Madeleine Ramsey.  After their retirement from General Electric, where he worked for 30 years, they enjoyed traveling in the United States and Europe, gardening, playing the piano, enjoying the beach at Drake's Island and spending precious time with their two grandchildren.  Dave was a lifelong communicant of St. Martin Church, Somersworth.
