David Lightfoot

Clearwater FL-David Lightfoot,65, of Clearwater FL died December 7, 2014 at his home after a short illness. Born August 16, 1949 in Anderson IN he is the son of the late Jack and Mary lightfoot. Dave has lived in Clearwater for the past 12 years and has been a resident for the past 7 years after moving from Farmington NH where he and his family lived for 15 years. He was employed by the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard as a Metal smith until his retirement. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed dancing with his wife, spending time with his children and while living in Florida watching and feeding the birds. He was an avid NE Patriots fan and a member of the Calvary Chapel in St. Petersberg Members of his family include his wife of 16 years, Joan Lightfoot of Clearwater FL, his sons Chad Lightfoot of Attleboro MA, Clint Lightfoot of Plymouth MA and Cody Lightfoot of Berwick ME, his step children; Christine Archie of Springhill FL, Marylee Nasser of Hampton NH, John Evans of Seabrook NH, Ronald Evans of Kingston NH and Nancy Poulin of Milton Mills, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, his brothers Rick Lightfoot of Seabring FL and Larry Lightfoot of IN. In lieu of flowers Dave's son has requested donations be made at www.runDFMC.org/org2015/chadlightfoot There are no calling hours Funeral services will be held Monday at 1pm at the Grace Community Church on Rt 108 in Rochester Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery in the Spring
