Dawn Varney

Rochester NH- Dawn Varney, 83, of 14 Adrien Circle died Sunday May 18, 2014 at the Rochester Manor after a period of failing health. She was born Aug. 19, 1930 in Rochester the daughter of the late Fred and Irene (Hartford) Pierce. She was a lifelong resident of Rochester. Dawn worked as a transcriptionist for Community Partners and retired in 1992. She enjoyed knitting and computers. The widow of Warren Varney, she is survived by her son Hollis Varney and his wife Karen of Rochester NH; grandchildren, Brian of Somersworth, Aaron and Christopher both of Rochester, 2 great grandchildren, Renee and Zachary; sister, Mary Munroe and husband Richard of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberley Davis in January of 2014. . There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be in New Cold Spring Cemetery, Crow Hill Road, East Rochester NH Friday May 23, 2014 at 9:00AM with Rev. Al Weeden officiating.
