Delores G Phinney

Barrington - Delores (Dee) G. Phinney, 66, passed away Sunday June 17, 2012 at her home following a brief illness. Born April 11, 1946 in New Orleans, LA she was the daughter of the late Clifford Ashley and Emma (Petro) Stossel. Dee worked as an LPN for the Rochester Manor for the past 14 years, prior to she worked for Edgewood Centre for 23 years, and was very devoted to the residents she cared for. She leaves behind her beloved family: her children Thomas Phinney and wife Tammy V. and grandson TJ of Chichester, NH; and Tammara A. and grandson Nicholas Phinney of Barrington, NH; two stepchildren Phillip Phinney and wife Sue and family of Brunswick, ME; and Robin McLellen and husband Kent and family of Presque Isle, ME; her siblings John Applehans of Kingman, AZ; Kenneth Applehans of St. David, AZ; Dennis Ashley of Tulsa, OK; Daniel Ashley of Aurora, CO; David Ashley of Lander, WY; Maryann Hyatt of UT; DeeAnna Frith of Embden, ME; Kevin Stossel of Laramie, WY; Stephen Stossel of TX; and Stanley Stossel, Jr. of WA; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 41 years Wayne H. Phinney in 2006. Dee's children would like to thank their Aunt DeeAnna for her love and support throughout this difficult time, and for being the best sister and friend that our mother could have ever asked for. There will be no calling hours, burial will take place in Hudson Wyoming at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH.
