Denise L. Clay

Denise L. Clay, 74, of Rochester, died Monday February 7, 2022 at her home. She was born on June 7, 1947 in Rochester, NH, the daughter of Roland and Natalie (Boucher) Sullivan. She graduated from Dover High School, resided most of her life in Rollinsford, NH and purchased her forever home six years ago in Rochester, NH. Denise worked many years in retail prior to retirement. She enjoyed baking, shopping, perusing thrift stores and yard sales and watching movies. Denise loved family and was the matriarch always checking in with everyone. She will be missed by all. Members of her family include her son Patrick Clay, her devoted longtime partner Everett Clay, brother Darryl Sullivan and his wife Susan of South Berwick, ME; sister Dorinda Ouellette and her husband Dennis of Somersworth, NH; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Roland and Natalie (Boucher) Sullivan. There will be a private graveside service at the New Town Cemetery in Rollinsford on May 21 at 11:00 AM
