Denise Marie Duffy

Dover NH- Denise Marie (Gaudreau) Duffy.Denise died at the Hyder Family Hospice House on Monday, September 3, 2018 after a long illness. She was born on August 15, 1958 to Denis Gaudreau and Beverly Jewell of Dover, NH. Denise graduated from Dover High School and from Vincennes University, Indiana, with a degree in funeral services and later earned a degree in nursing. She worked with Gero-Psych patients in several nursing homes in both Indiana and Dover, NH. Denise was happiest spending time in the sun at Wells Beach, shopping with her sisters, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and celebrating holidays with family and friends. Denise is survived by her mother, Beverly Jewell, her three daughters; Brylye Collins and husband Mark,Cealleigh Moore and husband Greg, and Audra McQuade. Her six grandchildren; Avery Joensuu, Grady Collins, Olivia Collins, Ayden Moore, Cooper Moore, and Finnegan Moore. Denise is also survived by her three sisters; Darlene Stillwagon and husband randy, Debra Cox, and husband John, Donna Roux and husband Marc, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Denise also leaves behind her longtime friend, Mike Bennett. Denise was predeceased by her father Denis Gaudreau, grandmothers; Rosa Gaudreau and Irene Jewell, aunt; Lauria Gauthier and Denise's best friend, Sally Pickett Cadman.Denise's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the excellent care she received from the staff at Cornerstone VNA and Hospice over the past several months and also to the very caring staff at the Hyder Family Hospice House during her brief stay there. A service will be held at Edgerly Funeral Home chapel on Friday, September 7th 2018, from 4-6pm. A family graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 8th 2018, at 10am at the Madbury Cemetery, on Cherry Lane, Madbury, NH.
