Derald Goodwin

Farmington NH-Derald "Red" Goodwin Sr,78, of Ten Rod Rd died Thursday May 17, 2012 at the Maine Medical Center. Born May 17 1934 in Farmington NH he was the son of the late John and Odabelle (Willey) Goodwin II. Red has lived in Farmington since 1980 after moving from Rochester. He was employed as a pipe fitter at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard shop # 56 after 26 years he retired in 1985. He was a 45 year member of First Church Congregational in Rochester where served as head usher and general maintenance for the church. He was a boy scout and cub scout leader for 8 years with Pack 184. He was very active in N Bar H Riding Club for 30 years doing trail riding, horse shows and working the food booth with his wife.
