Derek Parker

Litchfield, ME- Derek Paul Parker of Litchfield, Maine passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the age of 35 in a tragic accident near his home. Born in Dover NH on May 15, 1983, he was the son of Richard and Linda Parker. Derek grew up in Rochester, and He graduated from Spaulding High School. Derek worked construction for many years and became a father to his son Kyel, one of his greatest treasures. He eventually moved to Maine and worked at Quality Insulation before recently starting his own construction business, Maine Builders, with his good friend Richard Hill. Derek met the love of his life, Pam Averill Parker whom he married only 8 days prior to his passing. She was the other treasure in his life along with her children Kelsey and Austin Averill. Derek is survived by his loving wife Pam, son Kyel, older brother Dwayne Parker with Jodi Patch, younger brother David Parker with Jess Lamontagne, his parents Richard & Linda Parker, grandmother Patricia Roux, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces...
