Don Polson Mccarter

Don Polson McCarter, 93, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Concord Hospital.  The son of the late Arthur R. and Isabel (Polson) McCarter, he was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on May 31, 1928. Don was a herdsman for a variety of dairy farms in the Northeast. He retired as an area manager for Eastern A.I. Don was a pilot for the Civil Air Patrol and researched family genealogy. Above all he enjoyed his family and was a great story teller. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Joan. Don is survived by five daughters, Sherry Reniker of Kent, Wash., Rachel Roberts (Donald) of Theresa, N.Y. Gail McCarter of Franklin, Linda Davis (David) of Rochester, Judi McCarter (David) of Sarasota, Fla.; four granddaughters; one grandson; and eight great-grandchildren. Family and friends may visit from 11-12 PM Thursday, June 17, 2021at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH.
