Donald Gargano

Donald Gargano, 66, passed away on Sunday, April 6 2025, at Portsmouth Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Donald was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on September 30 1958 to the late Gene P Gargano and Dorothy (Pryde) Gargano. Donald attended Bullard Havens High School and graduated in 1976. Donald moved to NH In 1980 and made the seacoast area his home he worked for Hannaford’s for 35 years, working his way up to grocery manager.
His love for photography was well known and that passion reflected in his work. He was a kind soul with a heart of gold, always there for family and friends. Donald is survived by his son Michael Mills and his wife Lilly of Hebron, MD: and his grandsons William and Orin, brother Gene along with a niece, Laura, and nephew Gregory.
A service and a celebration of life will be held privately by his family. If any one wishes to honor Donald, Contributions to Dana Farber Cancer research center.
