Donald Montwell Maciver

MacIver, Donald Gonic- Donald Montwell MacIver, 78, of 164 Pickering Road died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at his home. Born March 7, 1932 in Rochester, NH. He was the son of the late Angus and Marjorie (Guy) MacIver. Mr. MacIver has lived in Rochester all of his life. He owned and operated his own dairy farm for many years. After retiring from farming, he worked for the NH Department of Transportation mowing grass on the highways. He was an avid fly fisherman. He enjoyed playing the harmonica, tying flies, and painting. He was a dedicated caregiver. Members of his family include his siblings Burton MacIver and wife Josephine of Barrington, Eleanor MacIver of Gonic, Cliffton MacIver and wife Juanita of Louisiana, Kenneth MacIver of Gonic, and Francis MacIver and wife Aliceanne of Florida. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Allard MacIver. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
