Doris Wentworth

Rochester - Doris Wentworth, 88, passed away Monday November 19, 2012 at the Gafney Home in Rochester following a long illness. Born January 6, 1924 in Ossipee, NH she was the daughter of the late Harold and Cora (York) Bean. Mrs. Wentworth had worked for General Electric for many years. She enjoyed needle point, knitting, and stained glass, but most of all she enjoyed being a grandmother. Members of her family include her husband of 59 years Donald Wentworth of Rochester, NH; her children Robert Wentworth and wife Katie of FL; Michael Wentworth and wife Donna of Lebanon, ME; and Linda Bedirian and husband Charles of Wells, ME; eleven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and her sister Helen Baun of Waldo, FL. The family would like to thank Rochester VNA and Hospice and the Gafney Home for the compassionate care that Doris received. Family and friends may visit Friday November 23, 2012 from 6-8PM at the R.
