Dorothy Armstrong

Dover - Dorothy Armstrong, 71, passed away Wednesday May 2, 2012 at the Hyder Family Hospice House following a brief illness. Born May 18, 1940 in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Chapman) Barkas. Before retiring Dorothy had worked as a cashier for Dunkin Donuts. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and cross stitching. Members of her family include her children David Scutzarella of FL; Robert Scuzzarella of Everett, MA; and Thomas Scuzzarella of Lynn, MA; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her siblings Paul Barkas of FL; Carol Margeson of FL; and Judith Young of Rochester, NH; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick Armstrong. Family and friends may visit Sunday from 2 - 4 PM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH. At her request there will be no funeral service.
