Dorothy Garland

Rochester - Dorothy M. Garland, 72, passed away Tuesday August 27, 2013 at Colonial Hill of Rochester following a period of failing health. Born October 29, 1940 in North Conway, NH she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence (Kittredge) Bickford. Dorothy worked for many years at Colby Footwear in Gonic. Members of her family include her children Betty-Jo Reilly and husband Edward of Rochester, NH; George Garland and wife Lisa of Dover, NH; and Wilbur Garland and wife Marlene of Rochester, NH; six grandchildren Jessica, Felica, Terence, Patrice, Nicole, and Kristen, eight great grandchildren Hailey, Jayden, Zachary, Sophia, Kalab, Johnathan, Jacob and Charlie. Nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Ann (Jones) Bickford, Eugene Bickford and Betty Lesperance. A memorial service will be held Friday at 1PM at the R.M.
