Dorothy Genovesi

Dorothy G. Genovesi, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 24. She was born on August 31, 1921 in Westerly, RI. Members of her beloved family include daughter Mardi and her husband, Ken Collier; daughter Gail and her husband David Malone; son Ron Genovesi and his wife Carole; her grandchildren: Matthew, Evan, Aaron, Natalie, Kara, Justin, Katie Rob and 23 great grandchildren. During World War II she enlisted in the US Navy as a Wave because she had a great desire to serve her country using her clerical training. Dorothy loved God and as a faithful church member she actively served Him in many capacities. Her last church home was Heritage Baptist Church in Dover, NH. Gratitude is extended to the staff at Colonial Hill and Life Choice Hospice for the loving care they gave to Dorothy. The funeral service will be Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 2:30PM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH.
