Dorothy Kittredge

ROCHESTER ; Dorothy "Dottie" Kittredge, 60, of 6 Hickory Lane, died peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2009, at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, N.H.Born July 17, 1948, in Claremont, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Jackson) Dodge. She attended Claremont schools and was a graduate of Bay Path College.Dottie lived in Rochester for the past 32 years, where she spent countless hours volunteering at youth and high school sports, and was particularly dedicated to Special Olympics. Employed at the University of New Hampshire for over 30 years, most recently in the Dean's Office at the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, she was widely known throughout the University community for her professionalism, kindness, and enthusiasm for UNH sports. Her compassionate spirit touched countless students, faculty and staff over these past three decades.
