Dorothy L. Nau

Dorothy Louese (Dame) Nau, 78, of Rochester, NH passed away peacefully atBirch Healthcare Center on June 9th after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born August 8th, 1942, the daughter of Eldredge & Frances (Malone) Dame.Dorothy's life came full circle as she spent that last 18 years at Birch Healthcare Center, which is located on the same property as she grew up on, The Dame Homestead est. 1755.Dorothy graduated from Spaulding High School, Class of 1960, and MacIntoshCollege. She then spent all her working years at Spaulding Composites.She enjoyed all the activities and field trips at Birch. A special thank you to all the staff and friends there for taking such good care of her.Survived by her daughter, Darlene Crawford of Rochester, and her son,Erik (Rocky) Nau and his wife Deborah of Milton. 5 Grandchildren: Ryan, Jennifer,And Adam Bourasso, Tyler Nau, and Holly Welsh, and 6 great-grandchildren.Brothers: Richard Dame of Alton, John Dame (Cynthia) of Strafford, MichaelDunnells (Jennifer) of Wolfeboro. Sisters: Carol Brown (Ronald) of Rochester,And Helen Bourgoine (Barry) of Lee, and several nieces and nephews.Dorothy was predeceased by her Parents, first husband- George (Jerry) Nau,Sister, DavyAnne Locke, and a very special partner, Jean (Jay) Richard.Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 16th at 11:00, with Service at 12:00,R.M.
