Dorothy A Purvis

Dorothy A. Purvis Rochester - Dorothy A. (Littlefield) Purvis, 86 went to be with her Lord on December 15, 2012 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rochester on May 24, 1926 to Ralph and May Littlefield. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the widow of Carlyle Purvis to whom she was married for 51 years. She was one of the founding members of BeFree Community Church of Barrington and more recently attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Rochester. Dorothy is survived by 4 of her 5 children, Joyce Wood and husband Rodney of Alfred, ME, Susan Huggard and husband, Daniel of Rochester, N.H., Charles Purvis and wife Barbara of Louisville, KY and Ruth Brown and husband, Rob of Wells, ME and daughter-in-law, Allison Purvis of Acton, ME.
