Dorothy Rowan

Rochester-Dorothy Rowan,63, of 123 Eastern Ave died Thursday February 18, 2010 at her home surrounded by family after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born December 9, 1946 in Derry NH she was the daughter of the late Everett and Evelyn (Brown) Huckins. Dorothy has lived in Rochester for the past 25 years after moving from Farmington. She was employed by Dr Christopher Smith in Rochester as a an office manager until her retirement. Family was most important to her. She also enjoyed playing golf, spoiling her grandchildren, vacationing with her family, and the occasional trip to Foxwoods. Members of her family include her children; Wendy Buckley and her husband Brad of Newmarket, Heather Lynn of Barrington and Justine Lynn of Waldoboro Me, her step children; Shannon Holton and her son Jesse and Ryan Rowan all of Eliot Me, her grandchildren Ashley and Emily Barbeau and Sean Buckley, 6 brothers and sisters.
