Douglas Alan Stevens

Rochester NH- Douglas Alan Stevens, 67, formerly of Rochester died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Concord Hospital in Concord, NH after a brief illness. He was born Aug. 23, 1946 in Rochester, NH, the son of the late George and Irene "Betty" Stevens. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School and has resided in Rochester most of his life. Douglas served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and had worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He enjoyed restoring old phones and was an avid Patriots fan. Members of his family include his children, Alan and wife Traci Stevens, Jeffery Stevens, James Stevens, Katie Stevens; seven grandchildren, his brother, Dennis Stevens. There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held Monday Dec. 2, 2013 at 7PM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester NH.
