Edna Lorena Cyr

East Rochester - Edna C. "Lorena" Cyr, 50, of 11 Green Street died Friday, July 11, 2014 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover, NH after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 20, 1964 in Masbate Masbate, Philippines. She was the daughter of the late Renado and Gloria (Castillo) Cantongjos. She has resided in E. Rochester since 1998 previously living in Dover and Somersworth. She had worked as a pressor for Blue Ribbon Cleaners in Exeter, NH. She also delivered papers for Fosters Daily Democrat. Lorena was an active member of and volunteered at the Granite State Church of Christ in Dover. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and animals. She especially loved spending time with her family and church family. Members of her family include her husband of 18 years, Charles W. "Charlie " Cyr of E. Rochester; daughters, Angela E. Davis and Mya A. Maynard, both of E. Rochester NH; grandmother, Isabel Sanchez of the Philippines. Family and friends may visit Friday evening 6-8PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH The funeral service will be Saturday at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home with Minister Greg Martin officiating.
