Edna Jean Mcdonald

ROCHESTER, NH-Edna Jean McDonald, 83, of Strafford, NH passed away on Thursday, November 31st at Wentworth Douglas Hospital. Born July 9th, 1934 in Lynn, MA, Jean was the daughter of the late Howard Augustus and Edna Louise (Booth) Sederquist. After graduating high school, Jean self-taught herself bookkeeping and did accountant work for Lynn Hospital. After moving to Rochester with her husband Joseph McDonald in 1979, Jean worked for the University of New Hampshire. She was a member of the Third Baptist Church of Strafford, the VFW Auxiliary, the Ladies Christian Service Circle, and the Post-Polio Group. She loved word searches, reading, crocheting, music, and singing in the church choir. Jean is survived by her sister Edith Fottrell; her brother Howard Austin Sederquist; her son Steven Dyer and his wife MaryAnne; son Lee Dyer and wife Betty; and her daughter Jodie Lincourt and husband Steve.
