Edward Cossette

Rochester NH- Edward "Gene" Cossette, 71, of 12 Watson Drive died Friday Oct. 29, 2010 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover after a battle with cancer. He was born May 14, 1939 in Rochester NH, the son of the late Edward and Antionette (Ferland) Cossette. He was a lifelong resident of Rochester, a 1957 graduate of Spaulding High School and a member of the undefeated state champion SHS football team. He enjoyed golfing, attending UNH football games and taking his special dog "Raggs" to Rochester dog park. He was a USTA racing official, working at many tracks throughout the US including Meadowlands, Louisville Downs, the Red Mile in Kentucky, Northfield Park in Ohio, Foxboro Raceway, Rockingham, and Scarborough Downs.
