Rochester NH-Edward "Mike" Deal JR,60, of 54 Sampson Rd died Tuesday November 4, 2013 at the Maine Medical center of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born August 21, 1953 in Greenville MS he was the son of Edward M SR and Martha M (Pond) Deal Hatter Mike had lived in Arizona for 21 years until he moved to Portsmouth then Rochester where he had settled for the past 14 years. He grew up in Sharpsville PA and attended Hickory High School. He was employed as a self employed carpenter. He was a member of APA and TAP pool players associations, he was a member of the Bass Fanatics and State Line Bass Anglers. Mike was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and the many friends, through which he made hunting, bass fishing and playing pool. Members of his family include his wife of 16 years, Robin (Auger) Deal of Rochester, his sons; Michael Deal and his girlfriend Leticia Silva of Rochester NH and Edward Deal III and his wife Shannon of Rollinsford, his daughters; Tracy Deal of Albuquerque NM and Amanda Deal of Rochester NH, his mother Martha Hatter of Vienna VA, his step children; John Mercer of Somersworth and Elizabeth Mercer of Rochester NH. He has ten grandchildren and one great grandchild, his sister, Vicki Rosado of FL. He is predeceased by his father Edward Deal SR. Flowers are accepted but donation may also be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the National Parkinson's Disease Foundations. Calling hours will be held Friday 2-4 and 6-8 in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 south Main St, Rochester NH 03867.
