Edward L. Howard

Milton, NH - Edward L. Howard, 81, died December 9, 2024, at his home following a period of declining health.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1943, in Dover, NH the son of the late Ormbury and Florence (Canney) Howard.
Mr. Howard served in the US Army National Guard. He later worked for the City of Rochester with both the Fire Department and Police Department, he also worked at Pratt & Whitney.
In his free time Edward enjoyed hunting and fishing, trips to the casino, and playing bingo at the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his Children Debra Twitchell and husband Harris, Jr. of Rochester, NH; Edward J. Howard of Rochester, NH; Tammy Tiralla and husband Paul of New Durham, NH; David Howard and wife Deidre of Rochester, NH; Cathy Belles and husband Rick of PA; and his stepson Thomas Terry and wife Linda of Barrington, NH; his grandchildren Bruce, Jack, Eric, Evan, Jake, Lindsey, Scott, Joey, DJ, Jesse, Paige, and Carley, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Shirley (Terry) Howard.
Family and friends may visit Friday December 13, 2024, from 12PM – 1PM, with a memorial service at 1PM in the chapel of the R. M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH.
