Edward "Cat" Shaw

Oxon Hill, MD- Edward "Cat" Roy Shaw passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at his home. Cat was a long time resident of Rochester before moving to Maryland. He served proudly with the United States Marine Corps in the Korean War. He worked for the Bureau of Printing and Engraving until his retirement. He was an avid sports enthusiast. Members of his family include his beloved companion Marguerite Warder; step-father of Joanne Eddy, Jerry Warder, Judy (David) Moore, June Dunbaugh and Yvonne (Wilson) Prichett. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Florence Stevens; cousins, Arthur (Celie) Jacobs, Rodney (Barbara) Stevens, Rick (Maryanne) Stevens and Alvin Coleman. He is preceded by his parents Roy and Isabella, his sister Connie and his half brother Harold Stevens. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the R. M.
