Rochester- Edward (Ted) Napoleon Therrien, Jr., age 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 21 at the home of his daughter, Jennifer Dias. He was born on November 19, 1928, in Farmington, NH. He was the son of Alice (Armstrong) and Edward Therrien Sr. As a child, he resided in Farmington, NH and graduated from Farmington High School. He resided in Rochester, NH for the past 54 years. He served in the United States Navy and was later employed by General Electric for 38 years before retiring in 1986. He also served as a weekly volunteer for the Rochester Soup Kitchen for twenty years. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Rochester, NH as well as a member of both the Farmington and Rochester Country Clubs where he enjoyed many rounds of golf. Ted was the loving husband of Claire (Penney) Therrien for 42 years and cared for her until her passing on December 2, 1999.
