Edwin C. Goodwin

Rochester - Edwin C. Goodwin, 84, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital following a period of failing health. Born May 12, 1940, in Reading, MA, he was the son of the late Howard and Margaret (Howard) Goodwin. Ed served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Waste Management for many years. When he wasn't working, he could often be found tending to his vegetable garden or splitting wood. Members of his family include his children Christopher Goodwin and wife Amy of Fremont, NH; Kerri Ann Goodwin of Rochester, NH; one grandson Tristan Goodwin of Exeter, NH; sister Sandra Byrne of Greenville, SC and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Howard Goodwin of Reading, MA. Family and Friends may visit Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 4PM - 6PM at the R. M. Edgerly Funeral Home, 86 S.
