Edwina Wilkinson

MILTON MILLS ; Edwina Wilkinson, 88, formerly of Highland Street died Feb. 2, 2009 at her daughter's home.Born Sept. 28, 1920 in Middleton, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Fred R. and Alice E. (Heath) Young.Edwina had lived all of her life in Middleton and Milton Mills. She worked for many years at the local shoe shops in Rochester and Farmington. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always put her family first and would do anything for them. Family gatherings and cook out brought her the most joy from life. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crafts, and spending time at her house on Milton Lake.Members of her family include her son, Melbourne "Joe" Wilkinson, Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Rochester and daughter, Beatrice Lawrence and husband, Richard, of Farmington; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
