Elaine Bickford

Rochester, NH- Elaine R. Bickford, 73, of 9 Tradewind Lane Rochester, NH died Saturday April 6, 2019 at her home after a period of failing health. She was born July 30, 1945 in Rochester NH, the daughter of the late Anthony and Marguerite (Goulet) Pay. She was raised in Somersworth and has resided in Rochester for many years. She was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church in East Rochester and attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church recently. Elaine was an Elvis fan. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Carroll H. Bickford; sons, Carl Bickford of Wakefield, NH, Dennis Bickford of Springfield, VT, Valmore Bickford of Acton, ME.; daughter, Brandi Atwell of Wolfeboro, NH, many grandchildren; brother, Patrick Pay of Somersworth, NH and several nieces and nephews. At her request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice and VNA, 178 Farmington Road, Rochester, NH 03867.
