Elisabeth Godfrey

ELISABETH A. GODFREY Rochester - Elisabeth Adena Godfrey, 44, of 13 Allen St., Rochester, died suddenly on March 2, 2010, at the home of her parents, following years of declining health. Elisabeth was born July 18, 1965, the eldest child of Robert and Judith Godfrey. Elisabeth attended Rochester schools and graduated from Spaulding High School. She briefly worked in the Chancellor's Office at UNH before her marriage. Although her complicated and debilitating health problems precluded her pursuing the university education she desired, she was a life-long lover of learning; her reading was wide, her conversation was intelligent and insightful, her wit was delightful, and her talent as a raconteur enlivened many family gatherings. She appreciated a wide range of art and music, had a lovely singing voice and was a talented pianist with a sensitive musical touch.
