Rochester – Elizabeth A. Ciaramitaro, 92, passed away Saturday November 16, 2024, at the Dover Center for health and Rehabilitation, following a period of failing health.
Born in East Boston, MA on November 4, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Ellen (Moss) Norris.
Betty had worked as an accountant for Liberty Mutual for many years. She was an avid quilter and reader and enjoyed playing bingo. She also enjoyed traveling and was able to visit many destinations around the world.
Members of her family include her two daughters Susan Kenney and Dr. Lawrence Kenney of Foxboro, MA; and Christine Carpenito of West Roxbury, MA; two grandchildren Lauren and Alyssa, her sister Phyllis Whiting of Chelsea, MA; her niece Natasha Brennan and nephew TJ Norris, as well as many grand nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by first husband Frank Ciaramitaro, her second husband Robert Ivey, and her sister Sr. Thomas Norris, RSM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday November 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church located at 71 Lowell St. Rochester.
Burial will take place at a later date.
