Concord, NH-Elizabeth "Betty" Palmer, 80, formerly of Rochester, NH, passed away June 9, 2017 at the Harris Hill Center after suffering many years from the complications of Alzheimer's Disease.  She was born December 23, 1936, in Pittsfield, NH and later moved to Rochester when she married BIll Palmer in 1955.   Betty was the daughter of Lawrence E. Hill and Iva (Durgin) Hill.  Betty was a graduate of Pittsfield H.S., class of 1955.  She stayed at home to raise her 5 children.  Betty later worked for Ellis Hatch's catering business, was employed full time by Thompson Center Arms for many years, and her last job was working at the University of NH in Durham.  Betty is survived by her five children: her daughter Robin Morrison and her husband Harold of Hope Mills, North Carolina; her son David Palmer and his wife Pam of Sanbornville, NH; her daughter Sonya Davis and husband Christopher of Sedona, AZ; her daughter Carol Cologie and husband Robert of North Pole, AK; and her son Deane Palmer and wife Tammy of Concord, NH.  Betty will also be greatly missed by her sixteen grandchildren:  Robin and Harold Sr.'s children:  Harold Jr. and his wife Heather, Rachel and her husband Mark, Caleb and his wife Ashley,  Sarah and her husband Matthew, Joshua and his wife Janelle, Rebekah and her husband Daniel, Daniel, Hannah, Isaac, and Elijah; David and his wife Pam's children: Brian Paquette, Christopher Palmer and his wife Michelina, and Kaitlyn Palmer; Deane and Tammy's children:  Calista Beecy and her husband Alex, Tylor Palmer, Coree Palmer and his wife Nikki, and Dylan Palmer. Betty is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday June 15, 2017 11am in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main, Rochester NH 03867 with visitation to be held 1 hour prior. Burial will be at the Pine Hill Cemetery on Central Avenue in Dover, NH following the memorial service.
