Elizabeth Ann (Atwood) Stone, 70, passed away on September 17, 2022 at her home with family by her side. She was born on June 23, 1952 in Ipswich, MA the daughter of Mary G. (Pooler) Atwood and Robert H. Atwood Sr. She attended local Barrington schools, Dover High School Class of 1970 and received a BA in History from Harvard University in 1996. She spent thirty-two years in the hospitality industry including ownership of the Fernald Hackett Restaurant, later Square 1 of Rochester and Albert Einstone's Restaurant of Dover. In 1998 she began her teaching career at Nute High School in Milton and two years later moved to Dover High School in the Social Studies Department. She remained there for 19 years until she retired. The highlight of her career was her students, one of which was a Presidential Scholar in 2012. She loved teaching and the results showed.
