Ellen Monahan

Ellen M. Monahan passed away Monday October 20th after a long illness. Born on October 9, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts she was the only daughter of Barbara (Sullivan) and Jeremiah Sexton. Ellen lived in Boston, before moving to Rochester with her family where she resided for the past 43 years. She will be deeply missed by members of her family which include her son Charles J. Monahan of Rochester, and three daughters Maureen Couch and husband Raymond, Kathleen King and husband Charles and Brenda Pakula all of Farmington, her close friend and Sister in Law Patricia Cawley of Rockland, MA as well as eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Charles E. Monahan, her daughter Ellen M. George and her son William Monahan A memorial service will be held on Tuesday October 28th at 11am at R.M.
