Ellen M. Potvin

Rochester, NH- Ellen M. Potvin, 86, of Rochester died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brentwood after a period of failing health. She was born Aug. 26, 1934 in Rochester, NH, the daughter of the late Arthur L. Birch and Martha E. (Boggs) Birch.  Ellen was a life-long resident of Rochester where she worked and raised her family.  She enjoyed 60's music, Yahtzee, puzzling, and her cat Kiki.  When she wasn't looking for Blue Herons or wildlife by the river, she enjoyed rides along the beach and going out for ice cream. The widow of Robert Potvin, she is survived by her son Lee Potvin and Fiancé Judy Hatch of Maryville, TN, her son Steven Potvin and his wife Kelley of Lebanon, ME, her son Wayne Potvin and girlfriend Patricia Puglise Hewitt of Milton, NH, her son Robert Potvin of Barrington, NH and daughter Robin Potvin of Rochester, NH.  She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
