Elvira F. Knowlton

Rochester- Elvira F. Knowlton, passed away on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, after a period of failing health at her home in Rochester, NH.
Born on August 12, 1941, in the city of Revere, Massachusetts, Elvira graduated class of 1959 at Revere High School.
Vera worked at Sunoco as an administrative secretary for 38 years, and before the company downsized, was an executive secretary to New England States Regional Manager. Vera always went above and beyond to help tank truck drivers, maintenance workers, and co-workers to help with any concerns they may have had. Vera was greatly loved by all and would often give an extra hour per day to help the company in Revere, MA. She was an exemplary woman both in and out of work.
Vera is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jack Knowlton, of Rochester, NH, her brother, Ralph Williams, of Lynnfield, MA, and 5 nieces and nephews.
A Requiem Funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11 AM at the Trinity Anglican Church, 180 Rochester Hill Rd. Rochester, NH 03867.
The burial will take place Wednesday December 11, at 10 AM in the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
