Emma Lapham

Sanford - Emma L. Lapham, 91, passed away Saturday March 19, 2011 at the Newton Center following a period of failing health. Born March 30, 1919 in Lycoming County, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Wilkinson) Burgard. Mrs. Lapham worked in sales for Jordan Marsh for many years. Members of her family include her children Steven A. Erbach of Independence, OR; Scott E. Erbach of Rochester, NH; and Linda L. Meserve of Lebanon, ME; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Lapham. A graveside service will be held in the spring.
