Erma Clark

Erma J. Clark - 86 of Strafford, NH went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8, 2017.  She was born on July 6, 1930 in Malden, MA to the late Herbert and Edith (Murphy) Messenger.  She lived in Pubnico, Nova Scotia for 12 years before moving back to Malden.  After she graduated from Malden High in 1949 her family moved to Strafford and Erma moved to Washington DC to work for Capital Airlines. She moved to Strafford in 1952 to marry Errol, her beloved husband of 65 years.  She was very active in the community for the past 60 years.  Erma, Errol and their son Scott and his wife Paula were the original owners of the Isinglass Country Store which expanded from the Backyard Ice Cream and Snack Bar that was located in the Bow Lake Village. Erma loved to travel and enjoyed the outdoors.  Erma was a very caring and giving person who loved her family and friends.   She is survived by her 5 children; Danny and his wife Lily Clark of Barnstead, NH, Nancy J.
