Errol Clark

Errol D. Clark - 86 of Strafford, NH went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 10, 2018.  He was born on February 26, 1932 in Strafford, NH, a true native, to the late Edson and Velma (Smith) Clark. Errol joined the Army in January 1951 and was assigned to the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper. He was very proud of the fact that he made 26 jumps, one of which he broke his nose. In January 1952 he married Erma Joyce Messenger, of Strafford. After his discharge from the Army in 1953 he returned to Strafford where he attended trade school to become a machinist. He worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a toolmaker and retired in February 1987, after 30 years.  Errol, Erma and their son Scott and his wife Paula were the original owners of the Isinglass Country Store which expanded from the Backyard Ice Cream and Snack Bar that was located in the Bow Lake Village.
