Florence E Lamper

Rochester NH- Florence E. Lamper, 84, died peacefully Saturday July 20, 2013 in Rochester after a short illness. Born in Auburn, MA on June 19, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Lotta E. (Hall) Hill and George B. Hill. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard on June 7, 2007. In the early years of her marriage she was a hairdresser at Rosalies Beauty Shop in Rochester NH. Florence was involved with Lamper Hardware, owned and operated by herself and her husband. They went on to purchase the Royal Holiday Beach Motel on Daytona Beach FL. which they operated until January 1990. After selling the motel, Florence wintered in Daytona Beach, FL and summered in Rochester, NH. She enjoyed traveling, dancing with her husband, and was an avid card player. She also liked doing crossword puzzles and reading a good book.
