Strafford NH-Florence H. Pouliot of 653 second Crown Point Road died Tuesday April 12th 2016, on her granddaughter's birthday after a brief stay at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover New Hampshire with her family by her side. She was born January 13th 1928 in Rochester, the daughter of the late Earl and Eleanor Harriman, and her late brother Earl Harriman of Rochester. She spent most of her years in Rochester spending winters in Tennessee after her husband's death with her niece the late Gail (Pouliot) Hickman and her daughter Kerry Hickman. She moved back full time in New Hampshire many years ago to join her family in Strafford where she resided until her illness forced her full-time medical care only a few months ago. Her greatest joy was seeing her great grandchildren daily and her children and grandchildren often. She was a member of the Church of God on Heaton Street, Rochester where she taught Sunday School. She so enjoyed children and taught Sunday School most of her life. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, puzzles and bird watching until her eyes failed her. The widow of Jean Richard (Dick) Pouliot, who died April 18th 1985 she is survived by her son Lee Pouliot and wife Jeanne of Rochester, her daughter Robin (Pouliot, Potter) Lund and husband Jim Lund of Strafford New Hampshire. Six grandchildren; Debbie Goodwin, Pam Thompson, Michelle Pouliot, Robert Pouliot, Jake Potter and Mindy (Potter) Grant, and their spouses. 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; sister Doris Emmond of Rochester, now of Durham, NH and several nieces and nephews. The funeral services to be held Monday 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester New Hampshire with Reverend Lauren Whaley officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 1:30-2:30. Her burial will follow at the Rochester Cemetery, Franklin Street Rochester New Hampshire, on the same day as her husbands death in 1985. She will rest beside him.
